DILIGENCE FRAMEWORK
KYM — Know Your Mine.
Before a project’s Token Notes can be issued or listed, the mine itself is verified. KYM is the issuer-side diligence stack — the mining analog to investor KYC — covering title, geology, operators, permits, offtake, and custody. Every project on the Exchange has cleared it.
01
Title & tenure
Mineral title, concessions, and lease rights verified against the national mining cadastre — clean chain of title, no competing claims, current royalties and fees paid.
02
Resource & reserves
Independent geologist report to a recognized code (JORC / NI 43-101 / S-K 1300). Measured, indicated, and inferred resources reconciled to the offering size.
03
Operator & management
CEO, CFO, COO and >5% owners cleared through KYC and adverse-media screening. Track record, prior projects, and litigation history reviewed.
04
Permits & ESG
Environmental permits, water and land-use rights, community agreements, and remediation bonds confirmed current with the relevant authority.
05
Offtake & cashflow
Offtake contracts, sales agreements, and production forecasts stress-tested against commodity-price scenarios to validate coupon coverage.
06
Custody & audit
Physical certificate and corporate records held by an institutional custodian; financials audited and reconciled to the on-chain registry each period.
